I've never seen them for sale. We rarely even see seeds on this species unless we have used a camel hair brush on a flower.

Thanks for chiming in Kermit.

I thought it didn't produce any seeds, that to get new plants, one has make cuttings of an existing plant and/or buy a new plant.

Thanks, Kermit and Marilyn. I had really been searching for seeds. They are not winter hardy for me .I can just order plants in the spring from FBTC.

Like Kermit said, Salvia leucantha does set some seed but is very stingy about it. I've never seen them available commercially.

I got some seeds once in a trade from someone in coastal California where the plants bloom almost all year round. I also collected a few seeds from a 'Cislano' plant that I brought inside before the first freeze one year. (Sadly, 'Cislano' is no longer with me.)
