We had a few hot days so I thought maybe the leaves got burnt but now i am not so sure. Are my strawberries done for? is this just burnt leaves and the plants might recover or something more serious like Verticillium Wilt?

It doesn't look as though they're wilting as far as I can see from the picture angle. There are a few possibilities such as a nutritional deficiency (e.g. magnesium), too much fertilizer...... Some history would help. What have they been fertilized with and how moist is the potting mix? Also roughly where you are to get an idea of the climate. Have you had the plant/s long?
