This plant sprouted in a container with my Butterfly Pea Vine a few years ago and I don't remember anything about it except that I yanked it out, probably thinking it was a weed. Looking through some of my plant books I thought it might be Lantana involucrata but the leaves aren't right for that one. I should have potted it up on it's own until I could ID it but you know how hindsight is. Whistling Photos taken September 7, 2013 and not the best but the only pictures I have. Flowers are tiny, white in color and appear to have four petals; hoping it looks familiar to someone:

You are not alone with the weedy yard ... It seems every year there are more and more weeds here in Fla. Green Grin!

I'm trotting farther away from the original question but...
The more "weeds" that I allow to share space in my yard, the more butterflies, birds, lizards, snakes, etc.
It's a win-win for everyone and everything.
