Not at all!!!

2 years ago I purchased some 50 'second hand' books from a UK eBay shop (20+ about gardening). Those were books people donated to different charities and deposited them in containers on different locations. Charities work with money, so they sold the whole container to this Ebayer, who classified and posted them for little money. 2 years ago (sadly, no longer) postage via Royal Mail was very cheap. Many of the gardening books I ordered were brand new and I still have the feeling I made a great deal! I love my gardening books! (Pssst, don't tell anybody, but one of the books I ordered were '50 shades of Grey' - never ordered the sequels ....). Most books here are imported and very, very expensive, so why not take the chance on second hand books?

All my gardening books were purchased fairly cheap because they were "used". All were in good condition when I received them. Some are worn now because I use them so much and I probably would never part with most of them. Receiving a second-hand gardening book in good condition would be fine with me!! If I won one through the NARR, it would be cheaper than cheap, it would be a freebie! Thumbs up

We could send them to anyone. I hate that our "out of towners" get left out of most raffles. I certainly understand from the nurseries' standpoint, but hate it just the same.

I've purchased from Trish's store in the past and can attest to the wonderful soaps and the knitted dish cloths!!

A few years ago when downsizing, I donated a couple of boxes full of gardening books to the library at our little botanical gardens.

Wow. Wonderful selection. I'm thinking a gift basket of her soaps would be a good Christmas gift.
