Was this how you acquired that full ounce of lettuce seeds a few years back? Rolling my eyes. And now you're going to drag me down with you, eh? Hilarious!

Well, now I HAVE to take a look....just a peek..... Big Grin

Call me an Enabler.

Actually, Baker Creek has a well-hidden category for bulk (discount) seeds. I think I got my huge lettuce pkts there one year. (Pretty soon they will be too old for trading, but I anticipated that by making big packets. When they only have a 50% germination or even 25%, they will still plant a 10 foot row.)

I think I found it by bringing up a list of Baker Creek vegetable seeds, and then scrolling to the very bottom where "Bulk Seeds" were listed.

(An ounce of broccoli seeds, or greens, $4 - $7.50. A half-pound of peas for $5-$5.50)

There used to be a nursery near me that sold a whole WALL full of Botanical Interests seed packets. At the end of each year, they would mark them down progressively, until the unpopular pkts were going for 25 cents each.

Then they started returning pkts to BI for credit.

They went out of business the year after that! (I don't think it was the lack of my quarters that put them under.)

Haha, Rick, I'm sure it wasn't your fault. Some stores just succumb to the dynamics of economics.

Thank you for the information.
