Yeah Dnut, I think there is a special place in the universe for all the missing socks. I am just afraid when I pass on, my job will be to get them all back with their mates, So am trying to stick around here as long as I can, I am sure there is a missing flip flop area as well,

Shoe, weeds and Dahlia, ya'll just made my night.

I agree with leaving shoes outside the door though. Mine's usually because of the off-chance of a doggie bomb encounter.

And we should all get our extra socks together someday. Maybe they migrate?

Great tip! I too keep a pair at each door (that I admittedly try to go without until I realize my bare feet are not meant for a very hot trex back porch).

This made me actually LOL! Thank you for the giggles.

I was always a barefoot person outdoors. Always had dirty feet. Always loved the feel of grass & dirt around my toes.

UNTIL I GOT CHICKENS!!

Dirt & mud may be fine between my toes, but chicken poop is not. Plus, I'd rather inside the house be the one place that chicken-poop free. So beside the backdoor is always at least 2 pairs of old slip on shoes that I wear religiously. One pair is flip-flops, the other is a pair of old tennis shoes with the backs cut off.

It's amazing how clean my feet are now.

I have flip flops by the door and crocks by the potting bench. Used to keep something by the glass door for when I had to go find the dog toys in the dog run, but the dogs kept grabbing them and haulin' butt Glare

I keep a pair of flip flops outside the patio door and walking shoes, as well, for the mornings when the ants are rearranging their homes all thru the garden. Crying They bite with no warning and move faster then this gardener does ! Hilarious!
