I look at the videos or photos now and then.. and realize how much I miss them all... so no I couldn't imagine not have these critters around.. you know if I had the property and huge house I would have kept them all.. but that wouldn't happen now.. yeah I would be the crazy yorkie lady for sure if I had the money

Hi Sally! I tried to get on FB to confirm you and the site wouldn't come up for me earlier. Headed to take Inky bedtime potty...he is staring so I must shutdown, I will try again tomorrow. There's not a whole lot more there though. I hardly use FB (hate all the games and chatter), I just wanted to make myself a chronological pictoral so I knew what happened when...works better than a hand written journal. Then I made it public so cube folks could see. The pix are not very good though, I was using a disposable until Christine couldn't stand my pictures enough that she sent me her older Easy Share. Thanks for the compliments. It's just a little cottage but I like it to feel that way.

it is funny what words they learn

"Shut down" is always followed by "I have to put paws on" for "bedtime potty" which is followed by "upstairs cookies" after which we mount the bed and wait patiently for mommy to wash up. Then we take off "Mr. Jingles" have cookies and watch "Matt Dillion". I woulder if the routine would be the same if I skipped everything and just said "Matt Dillion"?

Cracking up! DH JUST came out here saying he was going to ''kill'' the cats. When they want fed, they go sit by him while he's on the computer, and when he doesn't get up, each groom. He hates cat hair, ROTFL!! They know just how to push him!

I really can't, I'm pretty silent so if I don't talk to him for a while, he will sit up like a statue about 3 FT. from me ad demand some conversation. I taught myself thus, to give 'names' to all that I do and sometmes even explain: "the plants like water, just like you!" , "plants are your friends, they suck up your carbon dioxide and give you oxygen back", "Mommy is putting vegetable oil on the edges of the birdseed tins so that they don't rust and get stuck" ...

The awakening was recently when Inky had his tooth cleaning and spent the day at the vet ... I can't remember what I was explaining to the air but I certainly caught myself several times.

LOL! I talk to the dogs all the time... more when I'm having some wine. I find they are very good listeners...

Don'[t have a pet but when outside I talk to the chippies and the squirrels.................... In the sun room when watering the plants I explain to them I am sorry, I know you must be thirsty and I am being a real bad mommy but please don't croak on me..

Plants do seem to enjoy conversation too. Mayhaps they just lap up the expirey. Food for the pole...

I think the robins, catbird and squirrels know me too.

This spring I had a robin that kept about 3' away from me as I was weeding. If I found a worm, I tossed it to her. I was showing DH and later he came over and told me she found him in the garden and took a worm from his hand. I hope she comes back next year!
