Wow! From my research, it looks like it has almost a dozen common names. I added Quillay and gave that name a thumbs-up to move it to the top of the list.

Thank you! It is certainly more known as Quillay as any other name.

Fortunately people no longer rip off the bark of these trees to place them in closets, etc., to keep moths away. It was also used as shampoo (gives a beautiful shine to black hair).

Bees love the flowers!
