One of my favorite salvias. Love the blue color. I've grown it for years in one of my flowerbeds and this year I added another one to a container in the backyard. Bees love the flowers too.

This was a robust and late bloomer for me this season! Very nice addition to the garden! Thumbs up

I love this salvia. The color blue catches your eye when it is in full bloom. As it begins to slow down I cut back all the scapes and it will produce a second bloom (the second picture) not as full as the first bloom but the flowers will last here in zone 5B/6a depending on the year, up until a really hard frost. I just cut it back this last weekend in October. There were still some flowers popping up on the scapes.

That's what I do too every year. I forgot to mention that in my previous post.
