I pinch myself every day when I see my view, to make sure I'm not dreaming! Lovey dubby I can't imagine ever getting tired of the view here.

The gourds never dropped off, and those vines are TOUGH! It took some real wrestling to get the vines removed from the wire over the pergola when the plant was starting to die back. I had to use clippers on most of them! I really love seeing them every day, and miss them now that they are gone. They'll be back next year though!

I grew some two years ago on a wire fence, and left them there all winter to dry. I don't think even one of them fell off of the vine.
