Hello,

Has anyone grown Rainbow treasure strawberry? Does one plant have three different bloom colors or it's a mix of different plants?

Thanks.

I haven't grown them, but I just googled "rainbow treasure strawberry" and there is a bunch of pictures of strawberry plants with white and rosy flowers, and many, many berries. I would doubt that one plant would have both colors of flowers on it, though. Where did you see these plants?

If it is a marketing thing at one of the big box stores or in a seed catalog, I imagine it's probably a collection of plants with both colors of flowers, and maybe even some of the white fleshed strawberries too. Or it could be a seed packet with a mix of seeds. Sounds like fun! I got "Kaleidoscope" carrots this year, a seed packet with red, purple, yellow and white carrots in it as well as orange.

Welcome to ATP, Welcome! We love curious questions like this.

Thanks Elaine, I see it in Parkseed and if you go to youtube you can see a video about it too (link below). I think you're right, it's likely from a group of several plants. I agree

Frangeria x ananassa 'Rainbow Treasure'. It's not in our database yet.

@Joannabanana) mentioned Rainbow Treasure here:

Ornamental edible strawberry; white, light pink, rose blooms on one plant. Sounds perfect.

This site says it has "delicious, sweet, scented fruit":

Welcome Winsorw! If you do try this, let us know how it does. Please also come visit the PNW forum - we are planning a spring plant exchange in 2016 and would love to have you come.

Thank you Bonehead, love the name BTW. I'll certainly post my results next year. I'll take a look at the PNW forum.
