And to think that I grow pokeweed. I have one pot of it. About 6-7' tall and I Love watching the birds eat the berries/seeds. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I know it is hard to find a plant that all gardeners consider undesirable Rolling my eyes. but there are some I never collect seeds from.
I actually let several pokeweeds grow on my property for the birds and they are a rather pretty plant , red stems and beautiful purple berries.

I would definitely pick them if they showed up on the swap. They grow wild here but I never seem to run across them when the are ripe.

I never thought to let them grow for the birds. They are just so darn hard to get out when they are big. May have to rethink them.

I let a few giants go here because they are beautiful and the birds love them. My neighbor comes and harvests the young leaves in spring to make Poke Salat but that does not seem to slow the plants down. The only negative is the festive purple splatters on the windshield from bird droppings.
