So when do you all cut back the scapes that form on the Hostas??

When they become unattractive....a matter of choice....plants doesn't care

Just make sure that you disinfect your clippers between hostas so you don't accidentally pass any diseases (if your hosta should happen to have any).

I do the same thing Paul!! Sometimes I cut them off before they are done blooming.

And yes Diann -- disinfecting is a must!!!
