I was wondering why Tinker's Garden Daylily database wasn't used to update pictures for daylilies. I know it is not being updated by the original creator, but thought AHS had taken it over. It was always another resource to get pictures if they couldn't be found on AHS or ATP.

The AHS didn't take it over, it was independent of the AHS. As far as I'm aware, and someone may remember better than me, Tinkers database was originally based on an independently produced database on CD by Bob Clary using AHS registration info from the paper ckecklists. Tinker added the facility for people to add their own images in an online version such as happens on ATP. In the case of the AHS database, there is an approval process before pictures can be added and it looks as though they're limited to one per cultivar.
