I notice that in the database, Salvia 'Black and Blue' has no propagation method listed. Does this variety come true from seeds? I searched for seed sources online but couldn't find any. Only companies offering plants.

Kayleigh: I'm just harvesting seeds from my plant this year for the first time, so I'll let you know next season.

Thanks Angie. I'm not sure if I can find plants locally, but would even like to try plants though I know they would be winter killed based on information read.

That's sweet, thank you. But I'll wait and see how they come out for you. I'm bad about not getting things sown and/or planted. This may sound terrible, but if I buy something, I'm more likely to for sure get it done. But next year I may be asking you how they did. and hoping for the best!
