This came up near one of my native grasses. Has what appears too be fluffy seeds (second photo).
This second photo shows some of the white fluffy bits.

Doesn't seem like this should be growing in my frontyard. I think I'll have to remove it.

It can be rather aggressive, spreading by root runners and seed. The only thing I have seen good about it is that some moth caterpillars eat it.
