I just transferred my stuff from the shoe box to the medium flat rate box. Oh man!! I've got all kinds of room to put more stuff in now!! And, as long as it's flat rate, maybe I should put in some heavier items. Hilarious!

BTW, since I do have so much room in the box, I am putting in 10 pairs of Christmas earrings...one pair for everyone. This is over and above the other stuff. Please take a pair and enjoy from me to you! Smiling

How much fun! Thanks Sally!

My growing collection is sitting in a basket. The wood pieces I have are raw..unfinished...ready for whoever gets my box to have some fun.

After Sally receives the last and final box we can start a brand new one, adding more people. I'm looking forward to this!

I agree

Sometimes it is actually cheaper to send a box regular Priority Mail rather than Flat Rate Priority if it's going somewhere close to you like an adjacent state. Just thought I'd take this opportunity to muddy the waters.
I tip my hat to you.

Personally, I would say "your choice" as to how you want to ship it. If it would be cheaper for you to use the flat rate box, go for it. If you can get away with a regular priority box for less, that's awesome. But at least we know the maximum anyone would have to spend would be the $10.75.

Another thing you might consider is the states everyone lives in. It is cheaper to say mail from MO to KY than MO to FL. So which ever way we send them be it flate rate or prioity try to get everyone as close as possible to each other (by state). Hint like FL to GA to TN to WS to MO to AZ I know this doesn't include everyone signed up, just a suggestion and example.

Yes, the Round Robin's Flight Path. It does make it more economical to have the Flight Path organized that way. I agree

I can feel a story coming on:

The Flight Path of the Round Robin

Once upon a time in a land far away, there lived a very round robin.
He flew in a circle, since he was round, but that's a good thing because his lift off was exactly where his landing would be.

Good point Robin! I remember a RR once that went a long distance, criss-crossing states and back again, no rhyme or reason and some folks complained (rightfully so) about the cost of postage being more than what it was for others. It makes sense to have it go in sort of a circle starting with the hostess sending to the first person closest to her and that person forwarding it on to the next in line closest to them etc.

Sharon: Love it ... and I look forward to that article/story! Big Grin

Here's hoping y'all have a ball with the crafty round robin:
