Isn't that just the way it goes with cats? I often wonder how many "haunted" houses and such are really just cats being cats. I will NEVER forget the time, not long after we moved into our present house, I was sitting watching tv alone at night, looked over and saw two glowing yellow eyes at about "human height" staring in through the screened patio door. Took me a minute to realize one of the black cats had quietly climbed up the screen and was just hanging there staring in at me. *H A !*

Of course that's nothing to the panic of the "man in a hat in my back yard"...which turned out to be a cow.

Just seconds before you realize what you are seeing and hearing your heart goes up a notch,..i wouldn't be the type to be scared of ghosts or the little people ,..however i do get ready to move quickly and its mostly towards the noise or movement,..like the Sitting Room door opening slowly,..which turned out to be one of the cats,..or the TV being turned on when i had turned it off and was in bed,..i had left the TV remote controls on the coffee table and one of the cats stood on the On Button ,..or feeling VERY foolish when i charged out of the Bedroom into the Sitting Room,..with Shotgun in hand to catch the person opening doors in my Cabined,..to find Dennis my cat flicking the doors open by grabbing the handle which swung as it was swatted and the door opened
