Hello,
I not sure if this is the right area but here is the problem.
This year I have a big pot of Cannas growing in my pond. I don't know if I leave them in the water all winter or take them out? Then if I take them out what do I do with them? I grow them just fine in the yard in the ground!
Thanks
Mine do well left in the pond. But we don't freeze hard enough to freeze water. How is the winter where you live? If you pull them out, make sure to keep them wet and in a warmer area. I have done that with both plants and fish. I used a giant Rubbermaid container filled with water and wheeled them into a warmer environment in the garage. It was a lot of work. After I found out they lived just fine without moving, I was relieved.

Cheryl,
I live in the high desert of Los Angeles, California. I am in zone 8b, my ponds normally never freeze at all, we don't get lower then 20 degrees give or take!
Thank you so much for the information
