I am in Zone 8a and this plant performs very well for me. I keep it in a large pot so that I can give it enough water.
Even though it could be tender in this zone I have never had it dye from the cold, so I don't bring it into the house for the winter.
All in all it is a very lovely and reliable plant. Smiling
