I also agree with Bonnie -- Vow of Silence is simply beautiful. Elegant and frothy!

It's a good illustration of how different an iris can look with different lighting, angles, culture, time of day. It's also good to take many pictures of one iris under different conditions so that you can see what the variables look like from your own camera. Especially true if you're trying to ID an Iris.

Indian NOid! Fuzzier beard but same lines at the throat, and yellow back beard. You just may have to compare there Rob!

Yeah, it's a tough to have to start culling your list.........it's pretty easy to find 'redeeming qualities" for all of them.........whether it's a "must have" to fit with a "theme collection....favorite hybridizer....favorite color, or , sometimes, size.....decisions, decisions !
