I am jealous of your wife! Thumbs up Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Thank you Becky...Did you see I figured out how to make marble? My wife suggested I try something she found at lows..Its paper that you put in the bottom of your kitchen drawers that has marble printed on it. You peal off the back and it has a sticky past to hold it in place....So I wrapped it around the columns and lacquered it a few time....Perfect results....

Are you talking about the marble floors? If so, I thought it was real marble!

How did you make the stain glassed window over the entry? Very nice also!!!

Everything about this conservatory is work of art, in my humble opinion!!! It is like nothing I have seen before. I am just amazed!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I was talking about the columns...The floor is made of granite....And I used clear 3 inch box tape and stuck it behind the rose window and painted the windows with florescent model paint,But we decided agents the window because it looked like a church Sad So Im goin to rebuild the windows in a more victoren style instead of Gothic... and here is a picture of the paper in marble...And thank you for the comment very nice of you to say that!

With so much detail in the conservatory, I didn't even notice the marble columns!!! Wow!

Oh yes! That is right that you mentioned granite for the flooring. Beautiful!!!

Once the roof gets installed you will see why the columns are needed...

Oh my gosh the fountain is turning out gorgeous!
Fantastic idea with the marbling.
..wink, about the mini hose.

You know, I just have to say...touring your Victorian Gardens reminds me of touring Italy! Your attention to detail is really fabulous.

Love that your Wife will enjoy it year round, well and you too.
big smile, I hope we will too! Thumbs up

Thank you very much! Here is another update..Roof is finished other than building and installing the chandelier...The roof consist 4 beams bolted together to a center truss to hold up the glass..I made the glass roof with brass handles so its easy to lift off for cleaning and planting inside the conservatory..Still lots of work ahead guess ill start on the windows next...

It's looking great, and going to be so much fun when it's all finished and can be used.

Also finished the front door today..I will post pictures of that soon...Think the conservatory will be a perfect greenhouse in the winter..The walls are almost 2 inches thick of styrofoam,I noticed after putting the roof on it got nice and warm in there, even while the wind was blowing...I think she can leave the plants in there year round...Just one more good thing and less she will worry about..

Shape - In those last photos (of the new door) that you posted, just looking at the photos .... one would NOT know it was a miniature building. The photos look like they were taken of a full scale building! The realistic details really do look like a building I could walk through. Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
