Polymer clay has been a popular craft for some time, but artisans are taking it out of the house and into the garden for a little added whimsy. Garden stakes, fairy doors, mobiles, and other fun objects are being created out of clay, bringing color and personalization to the outdoors. Yes, I use a clear spray that I use made by Krylon. the more you make the more you can experiment with to see what works best. Our Friend Goldfinch used a sunsafe sealer on her parts that is made by Brear co.

A friend told me she made some stakes out of polymer and they've been in her garden for 4 years and look great!

I have been experimenting with it, some with Krylon clear gloss and some with nothing but a cheap spray paint. So far with our weather which goes up and down with high humidity, they are holding up very well.

Allison, it is still fun to play with, try it again.
