No, but the plant was huge so it has to be one that comes back, leaves were thin. That leaves out tropical milkweed and common, but possibly butterfly weed or swamp milkweed the ones that seeds need cold to germinate.

Hummingbirder Frogs and Toads Dragonflies Cottage Gardener Butterflies Birds
Could be Tall narrow leaved milkweed . Or the woodland type , Butterfly or Tuberosa gets good size after years , All the others are pretty quick growers ,
Fun to guess it is ,
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
