Some new seeds did arrive today. They are now soaking in water. Than later today I will sow them and put them in the propagator. Hopefully they will do fine.

Willeke, those are nice choices. I have seen the bloom of Galaxy Heart and it is very nice.
Hopefully you get some similarities.

Thanks @RCanada. I do hope so. They are all lovely. I choose the Amber because it is the name of my daughter.

That is a good idea @Rainbow. I did sow them yesterday.
Still expecting some more seeds
Some mixed ones and some from Adenium ko.

Willeke, Where these seeds from Rinoa? The photo and text looks the like it is from her site?
She is partners with a Taiwan grower, I know.

I have no idea I must admit. I did buy them from a seller in England. Who does buy them from the growers. So it is always possible. .

@Adeniumgirl
I kind of knew that you were buying seeds from a seller in England. And I agree with Rick that the pictures and cursive text looks like Rinoa's. Here's her catalog:

The very first picture you will see is "Amber."

That is funny @Rainbow. I will take a look there. Yes this ones are from England. I now have seeds on the way from Taiwan. From Adenium Ko. Cheaper ofcourse, because the seller in England wants to make money with it.

@ardesia and @adeniumgirl and anyone else whomknows:

I have always wanted to grow a desert rose (red or coral) from seed. I figured the adenium forum was the place to ask what sellers you recommend? Have heard stories of people ordering from ebay and not getting viable/fresh seeds. Others have great experiences. I am very experienced at growing vegetables and perennials from seed but exotics is new territory for me. Also, what is fair price?

Hello @SCButtercup. You can best look at Ebay. A lot of sellers there. Such as Adenium ko, king adenium ect. I did buy from Adenium ko. Nice types and a good price. You can bid on them , but also buy because he has a price list for when you like to buy extra. He does charge about 2,50 dollar for 15 seeds. So that is not expensive.

Adenium Ko is said to be reliable and the prices on eBay seem very fair. I understand the shipping is prompt also.

You can order from Adenium Ko on his website also and there is more selection. Shipping cost is the same as on eBay.

Also, Rinoa has a wonderful seed list. She is very good and used to work with Ko.
She is as Orient Adeniums on Facebook and can upload catalogue from there. Under Orient Adeniums on eBay also.
[email protected] to ask for her to send catalogue to you.
