Polymer clay has been a popular craft for some time, but artisans are taking it out of the house and into the garden for a little added whimsy. Garden stakes, fairy doors, mobiles, and other fun objects are being created out of clay, bringing color and personalization to the outdoors. Meet three inspiring clay artists who have found creative ways to introduce polymer to their own gardens.

I was going to say almost the same thing! I LOVE these! Such patience these ladies have. This may just be the perfect thing for me to try this winter. I do have a few German gnomes that need a door. Big Grin

This was my first project with polymer clay. It was very quick and easy to make. I ended up having to paint it as I misjudged the thickness and scorched it. I used half-moon beads for the ears and round black beads for the eyes. I also found out that you should not use clear acrylic on beads as it dulls them! Who knew???? Smiling
