I just wonder if anyone else ever bid on an item or items against another bidder that you have bought or won items from their auctions? It feels kind of strange that I am buying from them and bidding against them at the same time especially on items that are a bit high.

Why? It's a free market out there. I've sold to people I've bought from, and vice versa. And yes, sometimes other bidders on your past auctions can and will bid against you. The more, the merrier, we share in this Daylily addiction!! No reason to feel strange about it, IMHO.

I think bidding...and a lot of it...is a truly beautiful thing....lol.

OK, thank you very much for your responses! I am not sure if I break some hidden etiquette by bidding against them.

We do not all have the same daylilies in our gardens. If you want something for your garden---go for it! They should feel the same way.

Its a free world. Dont take bidding against a friend or being bid against personally. And bid to win!
