Thank you David for the notice of this sale. I placed and order for this coming spring and put the code in the comments box, as there was no place asking for the code.

Lynn,
I just did a screen capture and put a red box around the area where you put the code.

Hmmm, I wonder if they have a bug that is causing it not to show up on all browsers or devices. They usually have great customer service so I imagine they will honor the code, regardless. Smiling

One time I accidentally deleted a plant from my cart and later emailed asking for them to add it to my order. They ended up sending it as a bonus plant at no charge! Big Grin

I am a little mad at them but I still put in an order because they have good prices for the size plants they send. I have been ordering from them for 5 yrs and this is the first time I have had trouble.

I ordered a lot of plants 6 months ago and one was not ready for shipment. They have been sending me different dates of when they are going to ship each month.

I bought A LOT A LOT from Santa Rosa last year! It was my first time. They have a nice selection and I think prices are good. Plus they run AWESOME specials. It is three day shipping for me though. Some of the plants took a long time to bounce back for me. Some did not make it. BUT they replaced everything problematic, no questions asked! I found they have EXCELLENT customer service.

Cinta - Sorry to hear that. At this point I would tell them to ship it with your other order next Spring. Crap happens some times.

I put in a seed order with Parks on November 4 to take advantage of some sale they had. I still do not have them. Have called 3 times and each time they stated they will go out next week. We'll see. If they do not come in this week I will NEVER order from them again.

I wish to announce that I left a phone message with information on my order placed yesterday. I quickly got an email response back from them that the bonus amount had been applied.
I call that great customer service. I am so looking forward to the arrival of the plants sometime in March 2016. Hurray!

Good News Lynn. They are good.

David you are right I need to delay it now anyway. I was replacing a favorite plant that I killed after years of growing. Begonia Rex Escargot. Last time they said it would be mailed Dec 30. It will probably be dead when it arrives if it gets cold.

Great Lynn. I have now ordered with them 4 times and been tickled pink over their plants. Let us know in Spring what you think. Be sure to keep them in mind next Fall. They have blow out sale prices and the past two Falls I ordered 10 plants. Fall '14 they were down to $ 2.95 each. This year, most were $ 3.95. This is for 4 " plants I think.

OMG - I would certainly wait on that. Far too much risk shipping that one this time of year.

I am not a big fan of Begonias though I do have a couple. That is a nice one. Thumbs up Now take good care of it and don't kill it. Sad

Santa Rosa has always sent me great plants. Their shipping is so cheap that I don't mind putting in smaller orders when the mood strikes. If they have to wait to send a plant, it is because the roots are not good enough for their standards. All their plants have been WELL rooted when I get them, and this really helps my success rate! Their packaging methods are superb. Each plant is wrapped in a net sock and then rolled in paper. Very few plants arrive bruised or broken.
In my opinion, their full price is more than fair, and sale prices are unbelievable for what you get! They have a fabulous selection of xeric grasses and perennials, many of which are hard to find. Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.

Yep all the way around. When I got my first order from them in Fall '14 as I was unpotting I was truly impressed with the roots. After planting, one bit the dust in less than a week. I called them up on the phone and they credited my card within hours.

And yes - the individual plant packaging is among the best I have ever seen.

I ordered 2 Blue Yonder Agapanthus (the only one hardy in my zone - I have 4 pots that I lug back and forth - 25 + years now) from this Fall and one did not look good on arrival - a Friday. I did go ahead and plant them and sure enough by day 2 the one plant really looked bad. I called them Monday and by the following Friday I received not 1 but 2 new plants!

Talk about customer service.
