Like I said, I'm not sure this stake went w/ the plant seeking identification as there was another stake I was going to take a pic of, but, alas it fell through one of the cracks pictured above.

Both suggestions look a lot like it. It's in maybe a 10" pot, it's a real sight stealer.

The label says Aechmea recurvata, that's not your plant.

Neoregelia 'Blushing Tiger' has shorter leaves than your plant has, there is a lot of these plants which look similar.

I do think it's more likely Vriesea splendens, or a selection of it. A flower spathe would help, take "more likely" as the clue.

I shoulda been a detective. Or so the CID indicated when I helped get a car thief arrested. Rolling on the floor laughing
