KarenHolt said:Dnd - I don't know for sure if they will which was my biggest concern offering them. I do know the nursery that sold them does not sell hybrid anything. But like you said, these colors are hard to come by so it's worth a shot for me to try. My vegetable seed is really high quality and geared for our zone as well as the few flowers I've bought from them. They pride themselves on offering very distinct and unusual. If you want to try I'll put another pak up.

Karen, I would love that!

Happy 2016 Cheryl !

We have a LOT of shade in our yard. As a result, I've standardized on hosta, hellebores and fern for a lot of our plant landscaping. For shrubs, we use azalea, rhododendron and keria japonica.

Depending on the deer, I may have some of the following in the spring:
- hosta lancifolia
- keria japonica
- lady fern (athyrium filix-femina)
- wild ginger (asarum canadensis) [not edible)

They are all doing well in the shade.

We're located in zone 7, but I've seen hosta documentation on some varieties that are hardy to zone 4.

I'm attaching some pics of the lancifolia, keria and lady fern.

Here is a list of the flowers and herbs that I don't have time to list individually but let me know if there is some you would like to try to acquire and I'll add them when I get a chance. (Sorry my husband is leaving for a week and I have some other things to take care of but I can add them once I drop him off at the airport tomorrow.)

I'm not sure of my quantities but I'll keep you posted :)

@DogsnDaylillies

I know the black velvet Nasturtium will be limited. I will check the poppy to see if it tells me the type. It's from a Christmas card swap on Houzz. I have plenty of Parsley. I will enter those into the swap list later tonight Big Grin

The palaver somniferum doesn't say it's type. My guess is lavender.

Littlecheryl I'd be interested in the Godetia Rembrandt, Columbine pastel mix and the apple mint. Is the flax blue and very large? If it isn't over 15" I'd be interested in that also.

Littlecheryl Well I will have to take the Lemon cukes out of the package I have for you , Their might be a few you do not want in the green mix ,
But I guess the Blonde and White you still might like to try ,
The mixed Basil and Purple Ruffles get to stay in your package also I guess ?

Tomato seeds are not many in each , enough to grow a couple for more , except the Hybrids ,, (as far as seed keeping ,

Dnd - her breadseed poppy is possibly a single lavender. If not, I have single lavender and Hungarian blue for you or anyone else.

Cheryl, I have some french marigolds that you won't find online. They are yellow with red spots. Really pretty. I might have a pinch worth of some pink astilbe for your shade. If so, I'll pack that for you. I also have some black scallop ajuga in my yard. It will be after spring though to collect the seeds. But I will get names and addresses of those that want it and send it then. If anyone wants any of this, please let know.

That would be wonderful. So I don't want to bid on something if someone else wants it. Is there a way to keep track of that?

I'm not putting up the astilbe, the french marigolds or the ajuga. I'll just put them in your baggie for the swap. I've put up dark red petunias, although Dnd will get a pack whether she bids on it or not. If I am told that someone wants something specific, I'm just adding it to their bag so they can save their dib for something else. Make sense? I don't want to cheat anyone, but the things I'm not listing is because I don't know the variety and so many people want the name of the variety. I'm not trying to cheat anyone. It's why when I offer it here and someone says, yep I want it, it leaves room for someone else.

I made a list of what I wanted the most. That way coming in, I know what I need to bid on first and it leaves room for things I would just like to have.
