This category was full of wonderful photos. In the end I know this was one that got one of my votes. The subject is one reason. I'm always surprised at how attractive some of the succulent blooms are. I tend to grow those plants types for how the plant looks rather than the blooms. I don't get good photos of the blooms. They are too small and I don't do macros and closeups are usually unsuccessful. This one worked because it's clear with a perfect background. Pretty! What plant produced the bloom? I have an Echeveria that has a similar bloom as this.

My Echeveria 'Lola' has quite a few bloom stalks, but not blooming yet. Not likely to sit for a portrait, though Smiling .
