There is much debate as to whether this variety is part of the species Annuum or Frutescens. The greenish white flowers display the characteristics of a Frutescens. These bushy plants grow to 18–24" and produce a profusion of 2in long conical shaped hot fruits that grow upright on the plant. The medium thick fleshed pods start off yellow and have a purple mottling before maturing to an orange/red color approximately 65-77 days after transplanting. The variety is said to have good disease resistance and is an attractive variety for container pots.
