Thanks @poisondartfrog !! I might take a few from the other swap and list them under this one. Another question, I'm starting to notice that some of the swaps I'm in there is a few people that are the same too. Do we eventually run out of things to trade or get duplicates from each other? lol

That's up to you. Green Grin! Each swap is run independently and you have complete control over what you choose to receive so if you wanted duplicates of the same item you could achieve that by selecting it in different swaps. There would be zero chance of your getting duplicates without asking for them.
I don't see a problem with listing the same thing across multiple swaps. Some players may be the same, but it is very unlikely that all of them would be. What may be a dud in one swap could be highly prized in another.
If you want to make seeds of the same plant available to two swaps, for instance, make two entries for it in your trade list. Then you can choose to dedicate 1 of the two entries available to each of the two swaps by checking the far left column under #4 for this swap and checking under the number for your other swap for the other one.

Another question about the swap lists. I joined this one and I'm part of DND's swap. Now I have the option to check a green check mark for this one too. So if I have Asparagus 1 packet, it gives me the option to have it available on both swaps....is that okay or do I need separate ones? Sorry slightly confused. Or is it the 1 packet on both swaps that have to fight/battle for it?

The swaps don't intersect. If you only have one packet you can only make it available to one swap. You will have to choose one or the other to put the green check mark in. If you have 2 packets and you want to make one available to the DND swap and one to this one you will need to make two separate entries for that seed and place the check mark for one under #4 and a check mark in the other for swap #3.
The dates, rules, and details for each swap are separate and unique to each swap and there is no communication or coordination between them. The automated system procedures are universal to all of the current swaps.

@Littlecheryl I do belive you have to decide which swap you want to enter the seeds in if you only have one pack. I could be wrong but I don't think it would be right if a swapper is only in one swap that they have to compete against others in a different swap. Could you possibly split them? I know for myself a few seeds are better than none nodding

Hi everyone, I just joined. Question: The names of seeds offered are ordered alphabetically by common name, not scientific name. Is there a way to change this? Often I don't know the common name, and I would prefer it the other way. I tried clicking on the heading but it did not do anything.

I don't think that is correct. You don't have to choose which swap or make separate listing unless you want to divide them.
If you have only one pack, you can check it off as available in both swaps and which every person clicks on it gets it no matter which swap they were in. If you have say 10 packs you can list it once and make it available in both swaps and the system will count down as people from both swaps pick them. Now if you want to divide them between swaps you can make two separate listing and divide them between swaps however you want. That is my understanding of how it works but we should get @dave to clarify and make sure.

I kind of think that's not really a fair way to do it...especially if you only join one swap for the particular seeds that may be offered.

I'd love to see a ruling from Dave regarding that. I'm only in one ATP swap atm. I wanted to get a feel for the system first, but I have a feeling that there will come a time when I'm in concurrent swaps. Doing one listing that shares between swaps would be much easier to keep track of.

I don't see where it is unfair. What if there is one pack of seeds available (in just one swap) that someone wants. Another person is there right when the swap starts and selects that pack of seeds. The first person that wanted it was at work and was unable to be there at the beginning to try and pick it. Is that fair? Everyone is not going to be able to get every pack of seeds they want. Now if I only had one pack of seeds available I would probably choose just one swap, but I don't think it is unfair to list it in more than one. Also by creating just one listing and putting it in more than one swap you are not having to guess which swap to put them in or how many to put in each swap. If you put them all in one swap you might not get any takers where you might have in the other swap. Or you put 5 in one swap and 5 in another and one swap sells out where the other no one takes any. Putting them all up in both swaps puts them in front of all participates and gives you a greater chance of giving them out.
