It is cold here today, with temperatures a few degrees below freezing forecast for the high. So, no melting today. My gardens are still covered with about 6 inches of snow. Only the paths which are plowed and a narrow strip of garden along the south side of the house are free of snow. I live on a hill in a heavily treed area, so the snow is slow going Sad

Raining today and getting colder.
Northern Kentucky has been great with temps in the 60s-70s
but now reality hits and we are headed back down to the 30s-40s including some nights below freezing. sigh.

We have light rain here after the weather guessers had told us for the past two days that it would rain that day but nothing until today. Happy to see it because we needed it.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

About 45 today here in Western CT. This is the chilliest it has been in awhile. We have been unseasonably warm. Daffodils are starting to bloom and crocus have been for about a week now. Many of my daylilies are already 3-4 inches tall.

Really breathing a sigh of relief that this nor'easter forecast has been changed and we are now expecting less than an inch of snow!!!!

The rain has stopped but it is still cloudy. Apparently that's the end of it.

Thursday was gorgeous, warm and sunny, wouldn't you know I had scheduled a few appointments with errands in between. No playing in the garden. Yesterday and today were cold with a brisk north wind, today's morning temp was 17f...
I need to check the forecast. We were suppose to get snow from the nor'easter too. Maybe we'll get lucky and this will be the last of the cold stuff, we can hope anyhow.

You all know what tomorrow is? The first day of Spring!!!! Thumbs up I'll start a new Spring thread for us in the morning. Smiling

That is why it is so annoying to have snow coming. First day of spring and the flowers have been blooming. Crocus, tulips and daffodils. Nope I don't think snow on the first day of spring.
