I have had three seasons with this plant but it bloomed only the first year. It was a very late bloomer that year and a pretty color. I thought it might be too tender for my garden when it did not bloom the second year. Last summer, I moved it to my most protected spot, still just a double fan. So it has one more season to perform. I will decide then on the next move!

I purchased Last Snow Flake in the winter of 2010 for spring delivery that year. I bought it on the Lily Auction from Northern Lights Daylilies. It was purchased as a single fan and that was exactly what I received.

As of 2015 I have 6 or 7 fans. So I have would say I have had moderate increase. Not what I would describe as a robust or vigorous plant. But it does okay. It is the very last plant to break thru in the spring. I now know to expect that and not worry about it. I have moved it to a bit safer spot where it is not likely to get stepped on and I put a tomato cage to mark where it is at during the winter.

Mine does not come close to being 32 inches tall. It is described as a very late but here in my garden it is among the early bloomers. Blooming here at the end of June.

Mine tends to show lots of green on it and love that!

I bought a bunch of Last Snowflake babies two years ago on the auction. Some are pretty, one is downright ugly, and for everything else it is too soon to tell. Perhaps next year....

Jan - Can you post some photos of the children seedlings that you mentioned above? Always nice to see what a parent might produce with it's genetics.

LAST SNOWFLAKE is the prettiest and strongest of several Stamile near whites that I grow. ARCTIC LACE is whiter but is much shorter here.LS will set a few pods here in zone 6 but is only fairly fertile.

I have had Last Snowflake since the year of introduction. It has always done exceedingly well for me. But I haven't been able to get any pods on it since it blooms so late here.

Last Snowflake has been a slow to increase here only about 4/5 fans and does not have anywhere close to the branching and bud count that they say, which I knew it wouldn't but it's worse then what I thought it would be. I don/t get many buds on it so far but the ones that do bloom are show stoppers, the color is exactly what it's suppose to be - we'll give it this coming year to show it deserves to be in the garden hopefully it has more blooms this year. it doesn't get to the 32 inch tall like it is suppose to either
