I personally don't care for applique flowers, but everyone is entitled to their own appreciation.

In 2011 I had a seedling bloom that appeared to be an applique . After several years it turned into something quite different, 2nd photo from 2015....

Yes! That is amazing! That's why I always tell people to wait for at least 3 years to determine a bloom on a seedling. I've seen changes on mine, but not as drastic as yours, Sandi. Beautiful ....both versions of your seedling!
