a nursery that speaks english ideally as i don't know other languages and don't want to pay to ship them oversea/air.
what nursheries are there that carry these roses

i have the book growing roses in cold climates and i saw wildenfels gelb a spinosissima hybrid. i think it would be great for my zone if i could get them.

According to HMF.com, Wildenfels Gelb is not sold by any nursery on this continent, but Forestfarm in Oregon carries Rosa spinosissima (listed as Rosa pimpinellifolia) and many other species roses.

do you think i could find someone on this fourm who could order the rose overseas for me/ explain what it is for and i'd pay them back. basically i'd send the a check. i dont feel comfortable giving personal money info online to strangers without promission.

I don't know whether anyone would be willing to do that. Shipping roses overseas is a complicated matter. It could require a phytosanitary certificate, which could be costly, and it could even require a period of quarantine for the rose. In general, it probably would be more trouble and expense than you want. Why don't you just buy the species rose from Forestfarm?

That's great news. I hope they do order it.
