It's okay, this swap was actually to accommodate southern gardeners, too. The irony is that the people who said we should have the seeds back to people by the end of January aren't participating in the swaps, so for me it is live and learn. I'll take requests from my swappers from now on to make sure I'm accommodating the actual participants!

I'm giving serious consideration to doing a swap in the fall when people are harvesting seeds so that it's on everyone's minds and so that saying "2015" seeds doesn't make them sound like they are already a year old. Sticking tongue out

Good Idea DnD . You will probably get a few more participants doing the way you intend to ,
I am happy with this ,
Several other things goings , Fall swaps I do less to offer , I am slow at getting seeds cleaned ,
I do not care about some , But I am hoping all the seeds in the box I showed are asked for ,, All to go ,!!! Smiling
Of course next fall , I would have the White Coneflower seeds and the rare Basil likely ,, it seems to work like that for some reason , Shrug!

I really don't feel like I'm behind getting seeds in January. There are just too many options for planting for me. We usually don't plant until May anyway. I also chose to redo my gardens this year from scratch. I like the idea of a swap after harvest though.

Jimard I'm also hoping to have lots more to offer this fall. Dnd, I really don't understand why more people don't winter sow. I'm hooked on it.

Turns out that Basil seems to be a Kilimanjaro Red Camphor Basil ,
Should not be here , should not be perennial ,, This , doing these trades and conversations , I still learn these things ,
it seems it could be from an entirely new series of Basil's That are not even being offered as of yet ,
??? is ,, How did I end up with one ???

Lots of things seem to happen around my garden ,
and it is okay if you all growing this , and I am the last too know about it ,, My mind wonders that way , About wondering if I missed something ,

Thank you jimard. I grew a sweet basil this year that got to we'll over 3 ft. I just had to let it grow when I finished collecting seeds and of course, making pesto. since the season went to December this year I suppose it had no choice .

KarenHolt My basil rarely gets that's large or tall , About all that gets used around here is the cinnamon and sweet so that is all I usually grow ,

Kolanchoe, I think he was just commenting and wondering. Please keep things nice in here, though. (I'd like to keep it kind of that 'If you don't have something nice to say...' type of mentality. I tip my hat to you. ) If you find another swap more suited to your tastes, that's great! Thumbs up Personally, I like to think we have a wonderful group of people in here, though, with some excellent seed options!
