This past summer I bought these ferns at the nursery and the only info on the tag was "Hardy Fern". Anyone have any idea as to their ID. Please enlarge to see full detail.

Looks like the first one is what we call Holly Fern, Crytomium falcatum.

Second one is a guess. Looks like Leatherleaf fern. Whatever it is, it sure looks happy and healthy!

Thanks Sandi, I hope they are hardy enough to survive our frigid winter.

I have 3 lovely Wood ferns that have survived for several years and wanted to add a few different ones to my shady corner.

I think the Holly fern will be hardy. They can be invasive here. Since I'm not sure if the other one is correctly IDd, I won't venture a guess but it is lovely.
