Does anyone know of a source that describes the best method for rooting a specific shrub? Most shrubs root from softwood cuttings, but what other methods work well, and on which shrubs?

Hi and welcome to the ATP Family!

A book that I refer to a lot is the 'The Plant Propagator's Bible'.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/1594864489/

It has great step by step information on the different ways to propagate plants and lists various plants and the best way to root them. Check your local library .. they probably have a copy.
