I gave my new Venus Flytraps some freezing cold rainwater I just collected. Will the fact that it's so cold kill them? I had them in purified water and found out it was bad, so I had to replace it. Cold rainwater was the only thing I had.
Any advice would help.
The more you garden, the more resources you have and therefore, the more independent you are.
Wild Flytraps are subject to freezing in the winter so a little cold water should not be a problem. But I wouldn't make a habit of giving them extremely cold water, let it warm up first.
Okay, thank you! I was really worried that the cold would kill them, but the water is already a little better and I won't have to make a habit of it since I have a lot more rainwater that I just stored (it's raining a lot).
