That is indeed a huge anticipation list, Melissa. The Leptotes bicolor sounds awesome!!

Roberta, my Baptistonia echinata seemed to have bloomed itself to death last time it bloomed, if that is possible. But the spikes take forever on that plant to mature, four months is nothing out of the ordinary. This one usually bloomed late Winter, early Spring for me, after watching the spikes for months!

When bringing in the plants today I noticed that one of my original plants that came back
from Miami without a tag has got a spike with what looks like 3 buds on it..it will be exciting
to put a name back on it!
Also from the fine folks at 'Royal Orchid Club'...one of my very first mail order experiences..
Opst. Suree 'See's' has a spike that is just about ready to pop open..and I'm guessing Jim...that
it needs a new tag? Whistling
Pot. Lisa Taylor Gallis 'H & R' another from my original collection has a spike , I think this will be the
first time I've seen the bloom.
Blc. Solar Flare has a couple of nice buds on it.
and Iwan. Apple Blossom is doing something that might be spikes..it has a different form than my
others...

I was surprised to see the coloration of this B. nodosa. It is nothing like I expected. Also, the Slc. Fire Magic 'Nora' is back in bud. This has become a twice-a-year bloomer. I am sorry for the nodosa pictures. The flowers are pointing away from the front of the mount.

Lovelies all, can't wait for all these potential beauties to bloom.

Ken, those nodosas of yours must be a cross of some sort, because the B.nodosa doesn't have any dots. Greenish petals/tepals that turn white, and a pure white lip. But there a are a lot of crosses that do have those nice burgundy dots on them.

Forgive my lapse. I should have told you what that nodosa was. It is B. nodosa var. grandiflora 'Josephine' x B. nodosa var. grandiflora 'Pauwela'.

Yes, that makes more sense than a spotted nodosa.

Lindsey, your Opsistylis [Opst.] Suree is now called Rhynchonopsis Suree 'See's' (Rhynchonopsis Lanna Thai x Rhynchostylis gigantea) and here is a picture of the flower:

Nice cluster of buds coming along on my big NOid Catt, sitting in the kitchen now for over a week, poor thing. It used to bloom a big flush in summer and again in winter. Now, it's confused like most of my plants and just randomly sends out spikes. Not complaining, mind you! Just a little Blinking Confused Rolling my eyes.
