I'm curious as well. I get hooked by the plant seed stands every time and now have enough red peppers, sweet as well as hot, to last a lifetime!

Me too, this year looks good for early peas to get planting.

I took my flats of tomato seedlings outside this morning to enjoy the warm air and sunshine.

Be careful with that. Even with sunshine coming through a window and additional light coming from your grow lights cannot compare to what the sun makes. Sometimes it's best to put them in dappled sunlight rather than full sunlight for a few days before exposing them to full sun. This process is known as 'hardening off' the seedlings. A huge increase of light can cook the little guys. And any seedling going from any indoor situation to outdoors is going to experience exactly that.

I was thinking that the sun is still pretty low on the horizon even though the air temperature is warm today. But I did put them out on the sun. Of course later the sun did move off them but there was still hours of sun.

I hope they are all right. They look all right. I will be careful with them tomorrow. I do plan on taking them outside again tomorrow as it is supposed to be even warmer than it was today.

I'd pick a largely shaded spot that has some protection from the wind. Wind is another thing that indoor started plants sometimes have trouble with. (Their stems are not as strong since they don't deal with the amount of breeze outdoor plants deal with.)

I have been putting a fan on my little seedlings.

No wind really outside today. Some days are really windy but not today.

Tomorrow I will put them in more shade than I did today. Supposed to be warmer even than today.

I planted my garden peas today. A nice day for doing planting as it is really warm at 70 but that will not last. Planted Super Sugar Snap and Sugar Lace II types of sugar snap peas. I love sugar snaps. Fresh from the garden they are just wonderful.
