Sounds fun Lynn!! I'm planning to spend a few hours tomorrow getting my plants winter ready, I don't have near the patience as you, so it won't be much...I may take some pictures!
Your 'Bros' is gorgeous Greg. I love the shininess of that heuff.
I was thinning out semp colonies when I came across something I never noticed before. I found several offsets with new offsets growing from the stolon. The tiny babies even have little roots into the ground. Sorry the photo isn't very good.
Bros is one of my favorite, love that dark red.
Lynn never seen that before. I was weeding the bed and pulled dead hens and found a few under the dead dry leaves.
Yes... 'Bros' rocks. It seems to have a hue that is shifted closer to true red than most of the others that tend to be maroon or brownish. And when the candy-apple green comes out in the center... sweeeeeet!!!
Excellent sunny weather today. I was gonna take a walk but no way I'm leaving my garden on a clear, windless, mild morning like we had today. Maybe the best day we'll see for another 6 months.
I've had my thumb in the way of pictures from time to time, but today was the first time I got my toes in.
I'll sneak in a few Sedums. 'Tricolor' I got from Lynn and it is living up to expectations. There's also 'Elizabeth', 'Coral Reef' and 'John Creech". They appear to be poised for explosive growth come Spring. I don't raise them up or provide gravel mulch. I hope they will be a living mulch on their own.
Oh yeah... the green one on the end will be featured as the November 4 site banner. But they rejected my rock garden panorama shot.
'Diavalo' 'Andrenor' and the transitioning 'Pacific Knight'
'Lemon Sky' - quite slow growing for me but has solid color performance, substance, and is happily dividing. What more could I want?
'Pacific Devils Food' ... again... I know... I know... but ....
When I looked at this I thought it must be getting close to noon. A quick look at my clock confirmed it was indeed 11:45. No jokes. BTW, that's 'Positively Glowing' at the 12 o'clock position. Thanks, Kevin.
Looks great Tim! Lynn it is funny just today I was preparing semps to ship and found one doing that, I kept trying to pick it off and realized it was attached to part of the stolon! Love it! @ediblelandscapingsc you may or may not even find it, but it is in your big box o' semps!

I've seen that before a few times. There are lots of unusual things that happen with semps!
Yes Lynn, we've had frost a few times already, but not a real hard frost so most of my perennials are still alive.
I have a temporary job which will last for a few more months and haven't spent a lot of time on-line lately. I try to read up on what's happening but haven't taken any new pictures to post. I'm enjoying seeing what's happening in everybody elses gardens though!
