Thread OP

It belongs to Zingiberaceae family.
The blue coloured rhizomes are the identity of this species. And its leaves have dark coloured midrib.

It has a lot of medicinal uses.
It is mostly used for spiritual purposes. Smiling

I emailed them yesterday. They are located in India. The price, including shipping to US, is $60 a pound of rhizomes. I can't afford that much, but would be willing to share the cost with 2-3 people.

Ouch. I would not risk any living thing being shipped into the US. Rhizomes might be ok, but also subject to Customs confiscation unless one has a Psycho permit. Those can be expensive. I have had seed from India confiscated. I'll pass.

Thanks, David for the info! I'm passing, too.
