I am patiently waiting for the well thought out changes and continuation of old favorites such as articles, here at ATP. I tip my hat to you. I will not say change is bad in itself. I just hate surprises. Hilarious!

Well, all I use is iPhone and I see the pictures. But I may not know what images you Re refering to? I am also anxiously awaiting the return of the articles.

Someone mentioned daily articles, I guess I'm just dumb, but I've never seem those. Where did one go to find those? I just always read the weekly newsletter, each article that was in it.

Donna, I don't really know when Dave/Trish quit publishing articles that were posted on the home page. I seems that it has been a couple of months, but that's only a guess. I also don't know whether they were posted daily or just when they came in and were published. It seems that there were new articles weekly (at a minimum). I guess you can find previously published/posted articles by entering the subject in the search box. I think you can find my articles by going to my profile page but I am not even positive that this is correct.

Thanks, Josephine. I seemed to remember that they were there but I did not know whether they showed when others went to my profile page.

Ken, thanks. I also think it's been at least a month, though it seems like 2-3 I have missed the articles so. I would miss pictures too, but the articles were really the meat & potatoes of the newsletter. I guess we just got to have a mix of all of it to really have that great newsletter we were used to. The articles were always just so packed with such informative info. Boy, I can't imagine how much work went into it though. I guess the pictures are considerably easier.

Any update on the articles? We've had a couple this year, but I really miss the daily ideas - even the quick and easy ones had value and I enjoyed all the different writing styles.

Of course it counts, and it was lovely and informative. Just missing them on a daily basis...I often read about things I might not otherwise, and enjoyed the subsequent discussions.

Deb- I apprciate you bringing this back up.

To be honest- the daily member articles are not high on our priority list right now.

I have about 10 great articles that members have written in the queue ready to be published when the time is right. They would have gotten very little, if any, exposure in the middle of winter when people are concerned about the holidays and snow. I don't like to publish great articles only to be buried during the gardening slow season- I don't feel it is fair to the authors who have spent a great amount of time on their work. I want their work to be seen as much as they do!

We could have run re-runs, but most of us like new and fresh things. I want to be inspired, not bored by something I've already read Smiling

That brings us to the hear and now. Dave and I have a lot of really exciting things that we've been working on. We very much hope to be sharing with you soon. We've been patient for many months, and will need to continue to be for a time more.

Will articles run? Yes!
Will daily articles run? Most likely, although no promises.
Will it happen tomorrow? No Smiling
Although hopefully not too much longer! I tip my hat to you.

Yes, Dirt- I hear you!

I'll take full responsibility of not having enough fun things to fill the winter here on ATP with this year- I'll try very hard not to let it happen again Green Grin!
Not to make excuses, but we have had "The Bug" go through our whole house several times, and other crazy things to pop up that our best laid plans became more survival than completion. BUT- like I said, I take full responsibility- some of that was the fact that procrastination bit me a little too hard. When I thought I had time to do things "later", other things became priority.

I did make good notes for next year, including Bonehead's suggestion of guessing the seedling, which I thoughts was VERY fun!

At some point in Jan, it became clear to me that we weren't going to get our big ATP projects done (much less get "ahead" on podcasts and things like I had on my list), and that we were progressing much slower on exciting things than we wanted....so now we just focus on being patient and looking forward to what the new year will bring!

I agree with Dirt -- I'm really more likely to read and appreciate articles now than during the busy gardening time (which for me starts with seed starting around March and goes to around the beginning of November). Shrug!

@Trish , Group hug Take care of the family 1st, I know how hectic a house can be when you have a bad bug year. Holly has a bug now and I'm thankful, thankful we don't still have 4 kids running around that need taken care of too. Smiling
