In an effort to promote our Multi-Plant Photos feature, Paul2032 is giving bonus acorns to the next 10 different members who post a photo to this area of the site. Update: The activity is now over!

@dave
I don't think that the "automatically get an acorn" happened for me. I have the same number of Acorn s as before. Shrug!

I've only tested the Multi-Plant feature before so this is my first public contribution. It's not very pretty but hopefully it is helpful. It would be grand if there was a small text box where I could write a note explaining that these are seedlings.

Thanks Paul for the push to really try this feature. Big Grin

Hi Paul,

Oh, I understand that you will be sending the 25 acorns later (and thanks a million for that!)

What I was wondering about was the one automatically generated acorn that the article references,
"You automatically get an acorn for each photo you post to the Multi-Plant Photos area..."

Not that I'm worried about getting that one acorn, but I thought that there might be a bug in the system.

Thanks again, Paul! Hurray!
BTW, Your Multi-Plant Photos are always catching my eye and I enjoy them very much! Lovey dubby

Thanks for this report, Danita. Actually, I am surprised by this but my memory is bad: I never had it setup to give acorns. The feature was never a feature that automatically gives acorns. That explains why it's not listed in the Acorns help feature linked in our footer.

Well, I went ahead and added it today so starting now, any future image posted to that area will grant 1 acorn as a reward. This will not be retroactive to the previously posted images, though.

Good incentive - I really enjoy long shot photos that show how plants interact with one another. Great for planning.

So the 1 acorn per multi- plan post was only during the time of the activity (ending Jan 4th)?

This is not all that important to me; However I did not get one for the following:

When did you post that image?

Keep in mind that you do get the acorn but it doesn't tell you that you got it. You simply gain it to your stash.

OK that makes sense. I did not get a message specifying that I got an acorn. And honestly I do not keep track. It was posted when Paul was giving away the acorns for images. No big thing, Dave.

Next time you post one, make a note of how many acorns you have. Then post the image and then check again and you should find the number went up by one. Smiling
