Silly question but how do the seed givers know to whom to give the seeds that were requested?

On the MA think spring seed swap home page there is a link that says "view your sold items" this is where the seeds you posted to offer should be listed with who requested dibs on them

Yep, the seed swaps tool keeps track of your promised seeds, wished-for seeds, and seeds you've got dibs on . Pretty cool.

Yehudith, I'm afraid of crashing the tool if I try to close trading, sign you up, and restart trading again at this point, so yah... what Muddy & Sally said... just post your haves & wants here, and maybe send Dmail or treemail to people with requests.

If Yehudith requests a seed pack from you, especially if it's the last available packet of something, please try to remove it from your seed swaps list... I think you can edit any item and just decrease the original number of available packs by 1.

***

Everybody, please check in Friday night and let us know if you are still snow-bound or not.

The way things look now, I think the swap will probably NOT be postponed. But we'll wait until tomorrow night to make a final evaluation.

Pat, I think Terri should be plowed out soon, so if you and David still have stuck cars let her know -- likely she can give you a lift.

We got back yesterday afternoon from a trip to Florida... took the auto train down, expecting to return on the Saturday overnight train... obviously that was cancelled! So we had an extra day at Disney World and then went to Daytona for 2 nights. I know everybody feels so bad that we were "snowed in" like that. Not!

Anyway, that's why I've been absent more than not the past couple of weeks... and I don't post in public that we're out of town, although I know most of you probably figure it out when I go all vague like that LOL.

Joyanna and i will look at seed lists tonight, and tomorrow we'll get goodie bags, gift table stuff, and "free to good home" seeds ready.

I'll also go increase the multiplier to some high number to make sure everybody can get their last-minute dibs in by Saturday. Smiling

Scrambling to get things in order for the swap now that I'm home...

I wanted to see if we could put together a spring order of lilies from Ednie, maybe establish some of the varieties we're interested in so we can talk about them on Sunday... To ensure access by all our Mid-Atlantic friends in both DG and ATP, I've put the thread in my "MAG Group Buys" forum on Cubits. If interested, please go here: http://cubits.org/crittercorne... Thanks!

LOL, don't thank me until you can find that thread and post on it... might be more confusing than not to try hosting the group buy outside of both DG and ATP, but I knew I didn't want to try keeping up with order threads at both places!

Excellent! Were you able to go to Ednie's links for the variety lists? I wasn't sure about that, so I did some copy/paste/edit to make my own list... but I'm not going to do that with the dahlia list until somebody says, yes, gotta get some dahlias. Smiling

Can't browse the catalog on Ednie's without logging in first. I don't see a way to create a username/password other than sending some kind of email request.

Actually, none of the stuff on the Ednie's web page is working for me. Can't even get the Contacts tab to display to get the info for sending an email request.

Right, you can't get onto the website without a password (and you need to be a retailer to get one -- or a co-op host)... but I thought the links to the lists might work since I could just click on them from my email. Hmm. No worries, I can copy/paste the lists. :-)

Thanks for checking!
