We'd love photos to tempt us even more during this frigid time.

I have the Irish Blackhart coming myself (from Cowlitz)

I have put together a pinterest page of the new ones I am looking forward to. About half of them are trades about half I have ordered. There are just to many to try to paste them all into this thread. Shrug!

I'll check them out while I have my hot coffee.

I wanted Blackheart*, and two others from Cowlitz. I Emailed them 11/28 but they never responded. That does annoy me.

*There's an Irish Blackheart and a Blackheart for those who may not have known.

I had trouble with e-mailing Cowlitz myself, apparently lots of her mail is getting filtered, or going directly to spam. If you want it I can give you another e-mail for them.

Need has nothing to do with it.
I just talked to Teresa at Cowlitz river. I know that at one time she was having computer problems. She has Irish Blackheart in plants only which she does ship so keep trying. Her phone number is (360)751-1280.

Geof, I also enjoyed your pictures with coffee. Great beginning to the day other than the drooling envy that I couldn't control. Whistling

Wow!! That's quite a "starting" list! I've grown many of those myself and especially love Kidd's Climax and Islander. But you forgot Bonaventure, my favorite. It's not too late! lol

Also getting 8 from Geof this spring! Looking forward to TONS (hopefully!) of blooms!

Had to look up Bonaventure, Dan. You're right, it's lovely! Another add to my "Wanted" list....

Impressive list!

There are quite a few that I am unfamiliar with - I'll have to do a little google-ing

Only one , Arlene, and she just left home! That could be part of my problem, huh?

Liz, I love the uniqueness of Bonaventure since the color can appear to change from day to day depending on the sun/clouds. It can be bright yellow, orange, bronze or a combination. The first three photos are the same plant. Some blooms are 12"+. I've had this one for years and consider it a "must have."

Your pictures are better than those advertising the plant online, Dan. Definitely one to keep an eye out for! Maybe I can add it to an existing order....

that last one looks like Café au Lait. I have Bonaventure but it never did well for me starting with the first year. I still have a tuber so maybe this year it will be better.

Liz, your list is startling to say the least. I cannot imagine having the space to pot them up much less plant them. Your yard will be magnificent all summer. Hope you survive the planting to see it. Rolling on the floor laughing

And this fall, digging and storing???? Sad
