I haven't seen the bloom of Aerial Applique yet, but I can say that it has nice leaves that got to work growing fast after it arrived in the mail. It grew an extra fan within a few weeks of being here. It even survived being dug up and moved TWICE in it's first season. The way the foliage grew, you would almost think it LIKED being moved around.

In my yard, it does seem to maybe have some semi-evergreen properties. It's hard to say with the warmer-than-normal weather we've been having, but it's one of a handful of daylilies in my yard that are green right now, and it has a full fan of green. This picture is from just the other day:

I should add that there were patches of light snow this day (barely visible once I cropped the picture, but you can see it a little to the right of the Aerial Applique fan)...the temperature that day was probably high 20's (F) if I had to guess about it, and it had been freezing temps for awhile.

Did not like my winters in Zone 5. Dwindled away to almost nothing. Sent it packing to Florida as a bonus (along with a better looking plant) for someone to perform CPR.
